Founded in 1993, the Kinh Do snacks business has grown significantly, introducing market leading brands in the biscuits and soft cakes categories. In July 2015, Mondelez and Kinh Do – the two big snacking leaders who have been making much-loved brands for Vietnamese consumers merge as one company shifting its name to Mondelēz Kinh Do Viet Nam. The move follows Mondelēz International's acquisition of 100% stake of Kinh Do’s confectionery field which was the leading business segment of Kido Group.
