FAQs

Launched in 2013, the Vietnam Best Places to Work® Survey is a comprehensive and prestigious program focused on Employer Branding, organized annually by Anphabe, with the endorsement of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). The evaluation model and methodology are validated by the third-party market research firm Intage Vietnam to ensure fairness and objectivity.

The Vietnam Best Places to Work® Survey is conducted entirely independently, gathering objective feedback from an average of 60,000 employees nationwide each year, measuring the attractiveness of Employer Brands across nearly 800 leading companies in 18 different industry sectors in Vietnam. The program has attracted millions of views, shares, and mentions from top media outlets nationwide.

Each year, the survey provides valuable analyses of the latest trends among workers and workplace environments, and it is consistently regarded as a valuable and professional information source for CEOs and HR leaders in shaping talent strategies.

When participating in the survey, companies will:

- Improve organizational strength: The core value of the Vietnam Best Places to Work® Survey is the ability to scientifically measure and evaluate the attractiveness of the employer brand, through the objective lens of employees. Companies participating in the survey will have the opportunity to receive an in-depth analysis report on their company's employer brand image with specific strengths and weaknesses, compared with competitors to get a comprehensive view of the company's position in the market. The report also includes recommendations and suggestions for improving efficiency from Anphabe.

- Opportunity for Recognition at Vietnam Best Places to Work®: Companies participating in the survey, if highly rated by employees, will have the chance to be recognized at Vietnam Best Places to Work® Summit, which gathers nearly 800 business leaders and many of the top media organizations in the country. This recognition will significantly enhance the company's employer brand image, promoting it to a broad audience of job seekers and spreading pride among internal employees.

- Opportunities to Be Honored as Vietnam Best Places to Work®: Drawing on feedback from over 60,000 employees, the annual survey delivers the latest insights into talent market trends and workplace environments. It analyzes shifts in employee expectations, allowing companies to adjust strategies promptly, respond proactively, and adapt effectively to market trends. Moreover, participants of the Vietnam Best Places to Work® Summit can engage with leading HR experts, gain valuable knowledge, and expand their networks with other business leaders.

Vietnam Best Places to Work® Survey is conducted entirely independently, capturing objective feedback from experienced professionals across 18 different industries in Vietnam.

Since 2020, the survey has also expanded its participants to include university and college students across Vietnam. This group represents an important future workforce that all businesses are interested in.

Whether a company appears in the Vietnam Best Places to Work® Ranking depends entirely on the measurement results and ratings from Vietnam talents across industries. This survey is conducted by Anphabe in an independent role, capturing entirely objective evaluations from the workforce. Based on these assessments, Anphabe measures and scores the Employer Brand Attractiveness index for each company. As a result, only the top 100 companies with the highest scores (in each category) have the opportunity to be listed in the ranking. Therefore, not all companies participating in the survey will be honored in the ranking.

The basic eligibility criteria are as follows:

  • The company must have operated in Vietnam for at least 3 years.
  • It must have a company size of at least 100 employees (with exceptions for certain foreign service companies with representative offices in Vietnam).
  • The company must not currently have any legal issues.

Starting in 2023, to create a more inclusive platform for businesses, the Vietnam Best Places to Work® rankings have been divided into two categories. Anphabe will contact and provide tailored consultation for each type of business:

  • Top 100 Vietnam Best Places to Work® – Large Enterprises
